About The Position

The Extrusion Operator is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments. The Production Operator position is an entry-level team member responsible for assembling building material components. This dedicated team member performs one or more repetitive job for loading material to a table to foam fill and load back to rack to back fill with foam. Processes include insertion a foam gun tip into profile and shooting to chemicals one resin and one ISO to combine for foam reaction. Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble
  • Ability to be cross-trained in multiple functions within and between multiple department lines
  • Ability to stand or walk on a concrete floor surface for up to a twelve-hour shift

Responsibilities

  • Loading material to a table to foam fill
  • Loading back to rack to back fill with foam
  • Insertion of a foam gun tip into profile
  • Shooting two chemicals (one resin and one ISO) to combine for foam reaction
  • Observing all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury
