About The Position

The Extrusion Associate I is an entry-level role responsible for operating extrusion equipment and supporting production in a controlled manufacturing or cleanroom environment. This position focuses on building technical skills while contributing to safe, efficient, and compliant operations under supervision. The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $19/Hr. -$21/Hr.. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Reliable transportation required (location not accessible by public transit).
  • Ability to read, write, and understand basic English required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching during shifts.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing and/or cleanroom environment preferred
  • Basic computer/data entry skills a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate extrusion lines and related equipment according to established procedures and process parameters.
  • Assist with equipment setup, start-up, and changeovers under guidance.
  • Prepare materials for production, including operating mills and handling materials per procedures.
  • Perform basic in-process inspections using calibrated tools (e.g., calipers) to verify product specifications.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report any deviations, quality issues, or concerns.
  • Accurately complete production records, including batch and inspection documentation, following GMP standards.
  • Support cleaning, line clearance, and housekeeping to maintain compliance and readiness.
  • Follow all SOPs, safety, and quality requirements, including cleanroom standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to meet production goals.
  • Participate in training and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Communicate production status and shift updates effectively.
  • Support new processes, materials, or equipment implementation as directed.
  • Maintain required work schedule, including overtime as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
