About The Position

Altium Packaging is seeking experienced Production Machine Operators to join their team. While prior experience with specific machines is not required, a strong background in equipment operation is essential. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Ability to recommend process improvements
Commitment to safe work practices
Solid English language skills
Desire to learn

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree
Apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty

Responsibilities

Operating blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating, or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles
Performing audits, weights, and quality checks
Adhering to quality control, blow mold process procedure, and Good Manufacturing Practices
Making adjustments to meet product specifications
Repairing or replacing pneumatic and hydraulic lines
Assisting with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin, and other mechanical changes
Grinding excess bottle and material
Troubleshooting and resolving process problems
Preparing maintenance request forms and documenting equipment repairs
Training blow-mold employees as required
Preparing and documenting daily reports, including rejects, regrinds, and line efficiencies
Ensuring compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies
Performing other duties as assigned by management
Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
