Extraction Technician
About The Position
Mint Cannabis is looking for an Extraction Technician to join their team. This role involves operating and supporting daily extraction and production activities, adhering to SOPs, safety standards, and state cannabis regulations. The technician will assist with various processes including testing, formulating, purification, separation, and isolation, working with both ethanol and solventless extraction methods. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory and seed-to-seed tracking, cleaning and organizing lab equipment and workspaces, coordinating with production and operations teams, monitoring product quality, and contributing to a world-class extraction lab environment.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a highly regulated environment.
- Strong math and computer skills.
- Ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks.
- Reliable, accountable, and able to follow direction.
- Comfortable working weekends and holidays when needed.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card if required by your state.
- Ability to safely perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively, adapt to changing priorities, and provide support across operational areas as needed.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Operate and support daily extraction and production activities.

- Assist with testing, formulating, purification, separation, and isolation processes.
- Work with ethanol and solventless extraction methods.
- Maintain accurate inventory and seed-to-sale tracking at all times.
- Clean, maintain, and organize lab equipment and workspaces.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to keep workflow moving.
- Monitor product quality and report issues immediately.
- Help maintain a world-class extraction lab environment.
