About The Position

The Extraction Technician is responsible for safely achieving production demands and quality requirements within a defined time-frame, from preparation to filling, while remaining compliant with hygiene, HACCP and work safety guidelines. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing / production environment
• Proficient in the use of equipment such as flow meters, scales, steam lines, chart recorders, agitators, pumps, valves, and batch tanks
• Able to read and understand PI sheets
• Able to read and follow a production schedule

Responsibilities

• Accurately take and document Extractions equipment readings
• Understand proper storage containers and accurately pull and store product
• Perform proper mixing and sampling procedures of Extraction production products
• Operate Vacuum pump
• Understand Process Instructions (PI) for Extractions Department Equipment
• Remain organized and on track while running multiple Extraction Operations
• Understand Extraction Equipment and Operation
• Clean the Extraction departments equipment to GMP standards
• Demonstrate Knowledge of RM handling
• Understand Processing parameters
• Start up, operate and shut down Extraction Equipment
• Utilities Training
