About The Position
Provide a basic level of emergency medical services for university sporting events, concerts, and other large gatherings. Depending on the event, Redbird EMS personnel either work independently or in teams. Additional Information Benefits include time away from work for eligible employees and the option to participate in the University’s 403(b) Plan .
Requirements
- Current State of Illinois EMT license
- Minimum six (6) months of medical experience which could include nursing, emergency medical/paramedic, or CNA experience.
- Within 8 weeks of applying, you will need to join MCAEMS. Website link is included here: https://www.mcleancountyems.org/system-entry.
- Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to lift 100lbs.
- Ability to physically access, treat and move patients in Illinois State University facilities, including but not limited to venues with stairs, steep inclines, and uneven terrain.
