About The Position

The Extra Help Assistant is responsible for providing unskilled, semi-skilled labor or performing basic office tasks in a state agency or institution. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.

Requirements

• Position #1: Associate or Bachelor's degree, Performing Arts, Physical Education, or closely related field (Master’s preferred). Proven experience in dance instruction, choreography, and team leadership. Knowledge or have experience with costume design, movement or physical fitness, and group synchronizations. Strong knowledge of various dance styles, including jazz, hip-hop, majorette, contemporary, traditional, and cultural dance. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Position #2: Bachelor's degree in dance, Performing Arts, Physical Education, or related field (or equivalent experience). Demonstrated experience in flag choreography, color guard instruction, or auxiliary team leadership. Strong understanding of marching band performance dynamics. Excellent communication, organizational, and motivational skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
• Position #3: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. A minimum of 2 years of experience operating tractor-trailers (preferably in event or equipment transport). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed.
