Extra-help -Insect management
About The Position
The Extra Help Assistant is responsible for providing unskilled, semi-skilled labor or performing basic office tasks in a state agency or institution. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy. The selected individual is expected to participate in entomology laboratory works and various entomological partners pertaining to honey bee management, primarily with a focus on rearing honey bee pest insect in the laboratory facility and application of honey bee projects. The selected individual is expected to communicate observations involving rearing and applying projects with advisor.
Requirements
- Agriculture and gardening experience concerning pollinators, honey bees and related insects.
- Interests include performing bee health research and native bees' health.
Responsibilities
