About The Position

Assists Gamma Phi Circus Executive Director with planning and oversight of week-long circus camp for youth ages 3-7 years old. Provides direction and supervision to Gamma Phi Circus student camp counselors. Provides instruction to camp participants in circus skills development, safety, and performance. Interacts with camp parents and guardians. Maintains camper check-in/check-out logs, waivers, emergency contacts, and other camper paperwork required for participation in camp.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of coaching and spotting experience in the circus arts, gymnastics, or other closely related performance arts
  • Previous experience working the Gamma Phi Circus summer camp
  • Must be CPR/First Aid/AED certified
  • Ability to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation: Remain at workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation: Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
  • Ability to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation: Move about in various locations across campus as needed to complete day-to-day work.
