Extra Help Athletics - various positions
About The Position
Intercollegiate Athletics is accepting applications for various extra help positions including Usher/Ticket-taker, Security, and Bench Crew. These Extra Help employees are limited to working up to 28 hours per week across all University employment and a maximum of 900 hours total during their employment. They are paid only for hours worked and do not qualify for most benefits, such as health insurance and retirement, with Illinois State University. However, Extra Help employees are eligible to participate in the University’s supplemental retirement savings plans (403b). There is no guarantee that working as Extra Help will lead to or secure permanent employment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work a variety of shifts
Nice To Haves
- Experience dealing with large groups of individuals
- Work experience with a diverse population
