About The Position

PGIM Global Wealth is seeking an External Wholesaler responsible for representing PGIM Global Wealth products and vehicles, including Mutual funds, ETF’s, SMA’s, Alternative Investments, and CIT’s, across retail and retirement platforms to investment professionals in their designated territory. The role involves raising net new assets for the firm and servicing the existing client base across Wirehouses, Regional Broker Dealers, and RIA Aggregator firms. The External Wholesaler will need to clearly differentiate PGIM's investment strategies, provide technical information, and articulate benefits relative to competitors. A strong understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, capital markets, and industry-related topics is expected. The position requires the individual to be based in the territory (ideally Columbus, OH) and have access to a major airport.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in the asset management distribution industry.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience directly to financial intermediaries.
  • Self-motivated with successful territory management and selling skills.
  • Ability to drive objectives relatively autonomously.
  • Required licenses: Series 7 and Series 63 or 65.
  • Must be based in the region (ideally Columbus, OH) and have access to a major airport.

Responsibilities

  • Representing all PGIM Global Wealth products and vehicles including Mutual funds, ETF’s, SMA’s, Alternative Investments, CIT’s across retail and retirement platforms to investment professionals in their respective territory.
  • Raising net new assets for the firm and servicing the firms existing client base across Wirehouses, Regional Broker Dealers and RIA Aggregator firms.
  • Clearly differentiating investment strategies, providing technical information and articulating the benefits relative to competitors.
  • Demonstrating expert level understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, capital markets, and industry related topics.
  • Meeting specific sales targets across investment products, investment vehicles and investment firms.
  • Working with internal and external business partners to align resources to expected sales outcomes.
