About The Position

Harbour is seeking an External Trade Sales Representative to grow our luxury trade business within an assigned territory. This is an in-house, field-based position dedicated exclusively to Harbour. The representative will not work from a showroom or carry other furniture/design lines. The role is focused on developing new business, building relationships within the design community, and driving territory growth. Harbour is a family-owned global design brand rooted in nearly fifty years of craftsmanship and heritage. Founded in 1976 by master blacksmith Jim Condos, Harbour has grown from a small Sydney workshop into an internationally recognized luxury outdoor furniture company, still led by multiple generations of the Condos family. We are fully vertically integrated, designing and manufacturing our collections in-house to ensure exceptional quality, performance, and attention to detail. Harbour blends refined design with durable, sustainably sourced materials to create products that elevate outdoor living across residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces worldwide.

Requirements

• 2+ years of outside, territory, trade, or business-development sales experience.
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
• Polished, professional presence with an appreciation for luxury design and service.

Nice To Haves

• Experience within luxury furnishings, interiors, architectural products, building products, or another design-driven industry preferred.
• Existing relationships within the A&D and luxury trade community are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with interior designers, architects, builders, landscape architects, and other luxury trade professionals.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, presentations, and regular field activity.
• Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and lunch-and-learns.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and track opportunities and client activity in CRM.
• Build strong knowledge of Harbour collections, materials, finishes, and capabilities.
• Participate in weekly sales calls and team meetings to review pipeline, activity, opportunities, and priorities.
• Attendance at High Point Market each spring and fall is an essential part of the role.
• Frequent travel throughout the year is expected, with an emphasis on consistent in-person engagement and relationship-building within the design community and key accounts.
