About The Position

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking an External Sanitation to join our team! This role assures that products are manufactured in a clean and sanitary environment that complies with federal, state, and PCNA guidelines. The External Sanitation role involves externally cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment, cleaning non-processing equipment, and maintaining sanitation logs and reports to document plant and equipment cleaning. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic math skills required.
Good written and oral communication skills required.
Must be able to successfully complete forklift certification.
Must be able to follow written procedures.
Able to read and understand chemical use instructions and precautions.
Must enjoy working off-shifts and in a wet environment.
Attention to detail and safety.
Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year production or janitorial experience preferred.
Chemical safety and Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred.

Responsibilities

Externally cleans and sanitizes processing equipment.
Cleans non-processing equipment.
Maintains sanitation logs and reports to document plant and equipment cleaning.
Other duties as assigned.
