About The Position

Cosette Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a US-based, fully integrated pharmaceutical company with product development, manufacturing, and commercial operations. Its branded pharmaceutical portfolio includes products in cardiology, women's health, and migraine markets. The company has corporate and manufacturing facilities in New Jersey and North Carolina and more than 300 employees. The External Manufacturing Manager is responsible for day-to-day operational management of assigned contract manufacturing and packaging partners supporting Cosette's Brand Portfolio. Working with Quality Operations and Technical Services, the manager leads Virtual Plant Team activities to drive supplier performance, contract adherence, supply continuity, and operational excellence across the external manufacturing network. The position follows a hybrid schedule requiring three onsite days per week at the Bridgewater, New Jersey office and approximately 20% travel. The expected annual base salary is $113,000–$146,000. The employee may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus if actively employed on the payment date.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Science, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain, or external manufacturing experience.
Experience working with CMOs, CPOs, or external supply partners.
Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and supply continuity requirements.
Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and supplier interactions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and relationship management capabilities.
Ability to influence without direct authority.
Willingness to travel approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned contract manufacturing and packaging partners.
Lead Virtual Plant Team governance and performance reviews for assigned suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance against service, quality, delivery, and cost expectations.
Manage production schedules, supply commitments, and inventory requirements.
Coordinate issue resolution and escalation management across internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with Quality and Technical Services to drive supplier performance improvements.
Ensure contract adherence and execution of supplier commitments.
Track and mitigate supply continuity risks.
Support product launches, technology transfers, validation activities, and lifecycle changes.
Facilitate supplier business reviews and action plan execution.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the external supply network.
Develop operational dashboards and supplier performance scorecards.
