Requirements
- Proven experience in managing exterior facility services, including landscaping, snow removal, and equipment maintenance.
- Strong ability to develop and execute budgets, cost estimates, and material requisitions for projects.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Skilled in coordinating and leading third-party providers and internal teams to meet quality and safety requirements.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills to address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
- Ability to analyze operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process enhancements.
- Commitment to upholding company policies, ethical standards, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Vocational or Technical Certification or 2 years’ experience in Mechanical Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, or Construction and/or related field
Nice To Haves
- Associates Degree or similar certification in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related field
- Certified Facilities Manager (CFM)
- Third-party management experience
- Project Management Professional - Certification
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage budgets by developing cost estimates and approving purchases for parts, materials, and equipment.
- Plan and prioritize work assignments, maintain workforce needs, and ensure timely completion of projects and service tasks.
- Oversee landscaping, snow removal, equipment maintenance, and seasonal service activities to maintain facility standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations by following established policies and procedures.
- Lead third-party providers, conduct quality inspections, and provide coaching to support professional development.
- Troubleshoot issues, communicate with facility users, and resolve service-related concerns to maintain a safe environment.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to support business needs, identify improvements, and promote continuous learning and adaptability.
