About The Position

Home Building Team Members perform assigned manufacturing production operations in the home-building process. The role follows standard production methods and safe work practices to support efficient, safe production and ensure products meet quality standards. Team members work collaboratively to meet productivity objectives, care for company assets, keep work areas clean and orderly, and communicate material, maintenance, quality, and productivity needs. Team members may be asked to transfer between departments as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to walk, climb, and lift at least 50 pounds, along with performing other physical duties as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits and observe relevant OSHA regulations to support efficient and safe production.
• Work as part of a team to produce products that meet quality standards and productivity objectives.
• Protect company physical assets from damage and misuse; report maintenance needs and keep assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist the Department Manager and Area Coordinator with planning and organizing manufacturing activities by communicating anticipated material shortages, tool maintenance needs, and quality or productivity issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
