This position supports the programmatic efforts for 4-H Youth Development in Belmont County in line with the goals set by the 4-H Educator. The role involves working with office staff, key stakeholders, partners, and community members to support educational programs and activities for youth based on community needs and the 4-H model. The coordinator will assist the 4-H Educator and other staff with 4-H enrollment, volunteer recruitment, data entry and management, record keeping, and organization/maintenance of files. Additionally, the position will collaborate with the 4-H Educator and Office Associate to develop printed and digital media, including webpages, blog sites, social media, newsletters, and articles. This role is part of the Ohio State University Extension team in Belmont County, requiring participation in staff meetings, the stewardship model, and professional development opportunities. The coordinator will work collaboratively with Extension personnel to maintain a positive public image and demonstrate the mission of the land grant university.
