Extension Associate - Youth Sheep & Goat
About The Position
This position is for an Extension Associate focused on Youth Sheep & Goat programs within the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. The role involves performing advanced program delivery duties that require specific subject matter expertise. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two years related professional experience.
- Knowledge of word processing, database, presentation and spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Delivers content for assigned program.
- Provides technical expertise for the assigned program in specific subject matter.
- Produces and delivers presentations.
- Develops resources, such as publications, videos, internet articles, news releases, and other online resources.
- Develops educational programs.
- Collects and summarizes data to measure the impact of education/outreach activities.
- Communicates and plans with other faculty/staff, researchers, and educators to identify and link research with outreach/education application to the project.
