About The Position
Seeking Teacher Assistants for Extended School Year programs. Multiple positions are available to support students in various grade levels and programs, including a behavioral therapeutic program for grades K-5, an elementary population with significant developmental delays, and a high school Algebra and Geometry Readiness Program. Responsibilities will vary based on the specific program and student needs.
Requirements
- Experience working with students requiring a behavioral therapeutic program.
- Experience working with elementary students with significant developmental delays.
- Experience supporting high school students in academic programs.
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living.
- Ability to assist with lifting.
- Ability to implement behavior intervention strategies.
Nice To Haves
- Handle with Care certification.
- Current experience working in a “Students with Emotional Disturbance Program”.
Responsibilities
- Service students in a behavioral therapeutic program (Grades K-5).
- Service an elementary population of students with significant developmental delays.
- Assist with all activities of daily living.
- Assist with lifting.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies.
- Support students in an Algebra and Geometry Readiness Program (High School).
