About The Position

Instructs an assigned group of children, grades K-5th, in an academic based after school program. This role serves as the Lead Site Supervisor for the campus, guiding children in social, recreational, enrichment, and academic activities.

Requirements

• 1 year of college (education majors or related field preferred)
• 1 year experience as an Extended School Day/After School site Supervisor or related field.
• Ability to successfully work with children grades K-5th
• Availability to work Monday-Friday 2:30-6:30pm and some Saturdays
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with children or adults in a structured environment
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
• Ability to interpret policy, procedures and data
• Ability to coordinate district functions
• Ability to maintain emotional control under stress
