About The Position
The Extended Day Assistant role requires the candidate to be at least 16 years of age and available to work 5-15 hours per week. The program operates from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with extended hours from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Wednesdays. Successful candidates must be able to complete a background check and the Protecting God's Children (PGC) class.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Availability to work 5-15 hours per week.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM (2:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Wednesdays).
- Must be able to complete a background check.
- Must be able to complete the Protecting God's Children (PGC) class.
Responsibilities
- Assist with program operations during extended day hours.
- Supervise children in the program.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for children.
- Communicate with parents or guardians as needed.
- Assist with daily tasks related to the program.
