Extended Day Aide (2026/2027)
About The Position
The Extended Day Aide is a part-time position in Community Education at Palm Valley Elementary School. The position is scheduled for 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, for 9 months. The position is non-exempt. The start date is listed as ASAP, and the position will remain open until filled. New hires are placed according to the attached placement chart based on verified years of experience. An Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required. The posting also notes that personal earned leave is available only to employees in 8-hour positions and Student Transporters. Internal employees moving to a position of fewer than 8 hours per day may lose access to personal earned leave while in that position. Employees with less than 5 years of personal leave accrual may lose that leave; those with more than 5 years are advised to contact Payroll about possible payout upon leaving the District in the future.
