About The Position

Western Express is seeking an Extended Coverage Log Auditor to join their team. This role involves auditing driver logs to ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations, reviewing Personal Conveyance usage, and monitoring daily compliance reports. The position requires coaching drivers on HOS requirements and best practices, maintaining an organized work environment, and the ability to work independently. This is an extended coverage position with a schedule of 4 days on and 3 days off, from 5 PM to 6 AM. Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Audit driver logs to identify and address Hours of Service (HOS) violations.
Review Personal Conveyance intent and usage.
Monitor daily compliance reports, including unassigned driving time, Personal Conveyance usage, and odometer discrepancies.
Coach drivers on HOS requirements and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Maintain an organized work environment and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
