About The Position

As an Extended Care Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for students. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate activities, monitoring students’ participation and behavior, and ensuring the overall well-being of the students in an after-school program from 3:15pm-6:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Requirements

• Commitment to Jesus Christ demonstrated in professional and person life
• Be well organized and a positive role model to students
• Be able to plan age-appropriate lessons and games
• Certification in CPR and First Aid (training in August at Trinity)

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in childcare or related field is preferred
• Familiarity with lesson planning
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a structured learning environment
• Ability to adapt activities to meet the individual needs of each child

Responsibilities

• Watch and monitor students in an after-school program from 3:15pm-6:00pm Monday - Friday
• Plan educational activities and games to keep students engaged, both indoors and outdoors
• Check students in and out using the FACTs management system
• Create a safe environment for students to grow and learn
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members
• Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to ensure a safe and respectful environment
• Oversight of any assistants needed
