About The Position

Milestone Recovery is dedicated to providing high-quality services to empower individuals facing homelessness, substance use, and behavioral health disorders. The Extended Care Attendant is responsible for the care and well-being of clients residing in the Extended Care Program, ensuring their stability, dignity, and recovery.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience working in a residential setting.
• Must have the ability to be awake and alert for all hours of the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience related to the human services field.
• Prior experience with homeless and substance use disorder population.
• Recovery Coach training.

Responsibilities

• Follow and fully understand all policies and procedures.
• Provide support and oversight to Extended Care clients throughout the shift, including hourly room checks and engaging in supportive conversations when clients are struggling.
• Be awake and alert for all hours of the shift.
• Check the immediate area around the main building at least twice nightly.
• Responsible for cleaning the staff/visitor bathroom, including changing trash and mopping floors, and other light cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Arrange transportation to emergency services when needed.
• Respect client confidentiality at all times.
• Attend required training programs and scheduled staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

• Compensation for this hourly position is $20 per hour + applicable shift differentials
• Overnight differential $2.50/hour 11pm-7am.
• Weekend differential additional $2.50/hour.
