About The Position

Our Lady of Hope Catholic School is seeking a part-time, reliable, caring, and patient child care provider for the After School Program to supervise the children during snack and play time. Applicants must enjoy working with young school-age children. The aide position requires the individual to care for the physical, social, and emotional needs of the young child while promoting and modeling the mission of the Catholic Church.

Requirements

• All employees are required to consent to a background check.
• Commit to our Code of Conduct policy.
• Complete online and in-person trainings prior to hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience within a childcare setting is preferred, but not required.
• Enjoy working with young school-age children.

Responsibilities

• Care for the physical, social, and emotional needs of the young child while promoting and modeling the mission of the Catholic Church.
• Work under the direction of the Principal.
• Demonstrate professionalism, including confidentiality, when working with administration, staff, parents and children, while promoting positive relationships and effectively communicating with others.
• Manage and set high behavior standards within the classroom and building.
• Must be physically able to perform the job of a caregiver of young children.
