About The Position

We are looking to hire a highly skilled Express Technician to maintain and service customers’ vehicles. The role includes preparing detailed vehicle service reports, replacing wiper blades and car batteries, and changing motor oil, transmission fluid, and brake fluid as needed. The Express Technician also keeps vehicle interiors clean while performing maintenance and servicing tasks. Success in this role requires strong mechanical skills, adherence to safety procedures and practices, effective communication with Team Members, and excellent time management skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Apply lubricants to moving parts of vehicle engines to prevent premature wear and support optimal engine performance.
• Lubricate wheel bearings to help prevent excessive tire wear.
• Clean engines to help prevent rust formation.
• Replace cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
• Rotate tires to promote even tire wear.
• Test tire pressure and add air as needed.
• Inspect customers’ vehicles thoroughly for oil leaks.
• Recommend additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections.
• Notify the Service Advisor when vehicle maintenance or servicing cannot be completed within scheduled timeframes.
• Prepare detailed vehicle service reports.
• Replace vehicle wiper blades and car batteries.
• Change motor oil, transmission fluid, and brake fluid as needed.
• Keep vehicle interiors clean while performing maintenance and servicing tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and practices.
