About The Position

Group 1 Toyota Hub City is part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail sales and service. We are growing and looking to add Express Lube Technicians/Mechanics to work with our Quality Dealerships representing a Quality Product! Our Service Technicians should be passionate about customer service, take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a winning team that cares about employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine, brakes, tires, fluids)
• Ability to perform routine maintenance services, including: Oil and filter changes, Tire rotation and pressure checks, Fluid checks and top‑offs (transmission, coolant, brake, power steering), Battery testing and replacement, Visual inspections of belts, hoses, and filters
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
• Ability to follow manufacturer and shop service procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, fluid services, and routine vehicle maintenance efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
• Inspect vehicles for basic safety and maintenance items including tires, brakes, belts, hoses, and filters
• Rotate tires and check/adjust tire pressures
• Document all services performed and inspection findings accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles when necessary to verify completed work
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended services
• Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and skill set
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors
