About The Position
Balise Subaru of Hadley has immediate openings for Entry-Level Technicians to become a part of our Express Maintenance Team. As a member of the Express Maintenance Team, you will learn about automotive systems, estimate service times, understand parts requirements, and follow approved procedures for service and repairs. We are looking for individuals with the highest levels of quality and pride, an inner drive to learn and grow their automotive career, and a desire for their income to increase as they progress. You will be joining a winning team in a modern, climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facility with advanced technology and equipment.
Requirements
- Knowledge of automotive service fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of automotive tools and shop equipment.
- A professional work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgement.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior technician experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Learn knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to explain systems and repairs to others.
- Learn ability to estimate time of service or repair job for purposes of efficient scheduling.
- Learn knowledge of parts requirements to complete a job, and ability to communicate parts requirements via repair orders.
- Learn knowledge of approved and established procedures for conducting service and repairs.
- Learn knowledge of and ability to comply with quality control and inspection requirements of Service Department.
