The Lube Technician is responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles. This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include performing lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints. The technician will report all necessary repairs to the service advisor, install completed LOF reminder stickers, and check and refill various fluid levels (battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant). The technician must ensure the vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints, and check fluid levels prior to vehicle release. The role also requires maintaining CSI at or above Company standards, maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work area, participating in required training, accurately recording hours worked, following Safeguards rules and regulations, demonstrating the Company’s Core Values, and complying with Company policies and procedures. The technician must also observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations.
