The Lube Technician is responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles. This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include adhering to express lube guidelines, performing lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints. The technician will report all necessary repairs to the service advisor, install completed LOF reminder stickers, and check and refill battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant levels as needed. The role also involves ensuring the vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints, checking fluid levels prior to vehicle release, maintaining Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at or above Company standards, maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work area, participating in required training, accurately recording all hours worked, following Safeguards rules and regulations, demonstrating the Company’s Core Values, complying with Company policies and procedures, and observing all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations. Other duties may be assigned.
