About The Position

The Genesis Express Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Genesis Express Service lane, ensuring a premium, efficient, and customer-focused experience. This role leads by example, supporting technicians and advisors while maintaining Genesis brand standards for luxury service, speed, and quality.

Requirements

2–5+ years of automotive service experience, preferably in a dealership environment
Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred
Strong knowledge of basic automotive maintenance and repair
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

Lead and support the Genesis Express Service team in daily operations, ensuring timely completion of maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections
Deliver a high-end, concierge-level customer experience aligned with Genesis brand expectations
Monitor workflow, productivity, and service quality to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Assist in training, coaching, and developing Express Service technicians and team members
Ensure all safety procedures, policies, and manufacturer guidelines are followed
Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Parts Department, and management to streamline operations
Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer standards
Step in to assist with hands-on service work as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Address and resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
