The Express Service Advisor is often the first person a guest interacts with -- and the tone you set in those first few minutes shapes the entire service experience.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of service advisor experience in a franchised dealership -- required
  • Proven success and experience in a guest-facing, high-volume service environment
  • Fast, accurate, and composed under pressure -- the express lane moves quickly and you need to move with it
  • Clear communicator who builds trust with guests in a short window of time
  • Comfortable with DMS platforms and digital service tools
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • A hospitality mindset -- you treat every guest interaction like it matters, because it does

Nice To Haves

  • Toyota or domestic brand experience a plus -- familiarity with Toyota service processes and menus preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests on the express service drive with a warm, professional presence -- making every visit feel efficient and genuinely welcoming
  • Write up express service tickets accurately -- capturing guest concerns, vehicle information, and service needs with speed and precision
  • Communicate clearly with guests on service status, timelines, and additional recommendations -- keeping them informed without making them wait to find out
  • Coordinate with express lane technicians to maintain workflow and turnaround times that respect the guest's schedule
  • Present additional service recommendations with confidence and transparency -- your job is to inform, not pressure
  • Coordinate loaner and courtesy vehicle logistics as needed to support a smooth guest experience
  • Maintain accurate records in the DMS and follow all documentation standards
  • Contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented service environment where every minute and every guest matters
