Express Lube Tech
About The Position
Are you looking to jump-start your Automotive career? Our service department is on a 4-day work week. That means you’ll be off 5 days in a row, 17 times a year! Scholfield Honda is looking for Express Lube Techs to help maintain and service customers' vehicles at both our East Kellogg and West Central Locations. You will be responsible for changing motor oil, preparing vehicle service reports, replacing vehicle wiper blades and car batteries, changing, rotating, and balancing tires, as well as additional maintenance and service tasks. As your skills progress as a Lube Tech, we will provide training in additional maintenance and prevention services. Honda factory training is provided. Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
- Completion of drug and background screening
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Prior experience in a similar role or automotive schooling.
- We have great entry-level positions if you don't have any prior experience or schooling!
Responsibilities
- Changing motor oil, filters, and lubricants in a timely and thorough manner
- Lubricating wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear
- Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required
- Testing tire pressure and performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear
- Thoroughly inspecting customers’ vehicles for oil leaks
