Meijer is searching for a new member of the family to join as an entry-level team member, specifically a General Merchandise Clerk, who can complete various retail tasks including product handling, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising. Collaboration with other team members and managers on additional tasks is also expected.

Requirements

Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.

Responsibilities

Deliver remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude.
Build rapport with customers.
Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
Help customers with any questions they may have, directing them to another team member if unable to answer.
Stock product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
Collaborate with other team members and managers on additional tasks as needed.
