About The Position

Waves Express Car Wash, voted Best of South Carolina and Best of the Upstate, is seeking a motivated Manager-in-Training to join their growing team. This is an opportunity for an energetic, people-focused leader who wants to grow into management. The role involves training directly under experienced managers to learn all aspects of the operation, leading by example, overseeing daily operations, managing opening/closing procedures, promoting memberships, and working hands-on with the team.

Requirements

• Strong leadership potential—ready to take initiative and learn fast
• Friendly, customer-first attitude with great communication skills
• Reliable and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work weekends (rotating schedule)

Nice To Haves

• Prior supervisory or team leader experience in retail, restaurant, or service industry is a plus

Responsibilities

• Train directly under experienced managers to learn every part of our operation
• Lead by example—greet customers with enthusiasm and ensure each visit exceeds expectations
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory, site cleanliness, and minor maintenance
• Manage open/close procedures and ensure safety and efficiency on-site
• Promote memberships and drive customer loyalty through excellent service and communication
• Work hands-on with the team—keep the wash running smoothly and jump in wherever needed
