About The Position

This role is responsible for the assistance in the product planning and exportation of all products from our fulfilment center to our global customer base. This role acts as a communication point and contact for status of exports as well as a control point for the picking, staging and shipping of our products to ensure product flows to the customer as efficiently and effectively as possible. This role will engage and work with our logistics team and our various global distributors and Latin America customers to ensure that documentation and Commercial Invoicing is correct and that proper communication of information takes place. Material Handling may also be required to meet the Team goals and objectives as needed and as such material handling equipment and warehouse process knowledge is a requirement of this role as well.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Team personnel to create the proper Commercial Invoice documentation for all Exports
  • Work with Fulfilment team to audit and validate shipment to commercial invoice documentation accuracy and verify that all exports are aligned to expectations
  • Act as process control point to ensure paperwork and communications are on time and are following proper process steps across the fulfilment team and to our customers
  • Ensure all Sales Team / customer required communication is timely and accurate and requests are met with a high sense of urgency
  • Work with the Logistics and Compliance teams to support the creation, management and proper record keeping of commercial invoice documentation
  • As required, flex to assist in team required material handling processes to include: receiving, put away, picking, staging and shipping
  • Work within ERP system as needed to support investigation, problem resolution and process validation
  • Adherence to the Gibson Cardinal Safety Rules as per the Gibson Playbook for Cardinal Safety Rules and General Safety Rules.
  • Obligation to submit safety observations for identified hazards using the safety observation QR code.
  • Support the comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with regulations, and improvement of our safety processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
