About The Position
Max Burger, Avon, CT, located just over the West Hartford line is seeking an EXPO with open availability to join our opening team. This is our newest location, opening in September seeking to hire the best in hospitality. If you’re energetic, reliable, and have a passion for creating a clean and welcoming atmosphere in a fun, fast-paced setting, we want to meet you! Max Hospitality is dedicated to providing an outstanding dining experience while delivering high-quality food, creative menus, and attentive service. Max Burger is known for its gourmet burgers, hand-cut fries, boozy milkshakes, and a lively, casual atmosphere. With a focus on bold flavors and playful menu items, Max Burger attracts a diverse crowd of regulars, families, and food lovers. The ideal Busser will be quick on their feet, dedicated to maintaining cleanliness, and always ready to lend a hand to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Expeditor or in a support role in a restaurant setting is preferred
- Familiarity with high-volume, casual dining environments
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting
- Friendly, reliable, and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-energy environment
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- High attention to cleanliness and detail
- Open availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables quickly to ensure timely turnover for guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room and service areas
- Assist servers with water, bread, and food service as needed
- Help set up and break down service stations, and ensure they are fully stocked
- Work with servers, kitchen, and front-of-house teams to provide an efficient service
- Contribute to creating a fun, engaging atmosphere for our guests
