About The Position
The Daily Nosh is a new breakfast and lunch restaurant in Downtown Roseville focused on quality, hospitality, and genuine guest connection. We’re building a team that takes pride in delivering a smooth, efficient, and memorable dining experience. We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Expo / Food Runner to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and at the highest quality from kitchen to table. Enjoy a daytime schedule — no late nights.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Reliable and punctual
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8+ hours per shift
- Ability to carry multiple plates and lift up to 25–40 lbs
- Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with exposure to heat
Responsibilities
- Run food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
- Ensure all plates meet presentation and quality standards before leaving the kitchen
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and service teams to coordinate orders
- Assist in organizing tickets and maintaining flow at the expo line
- Support servers with table maintenance and guest needs as needed
- Keep expo and service areas clean, organized, and stocked
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties
