About The Position
Love Farms is hiring an Expo (food expeditor)! This is an extended seasonal role, running from Spring through Fall, with potential for longer-term opportunities. Love Farms is a lively, community-driven farm and dining destination on Cape Cod, centered around fresh, locally sourced food and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We're busiest during the warmer months and rely on a strong seasonal team to deliver exceptional service. The Expo (Food Expeditor) is a critical link between the kitchen and front-of-house team, ensuring food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and at the highest quality. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys being at the center of service operations.
Requirements
- Prior restaurant experience preferred, especially in high-volume or seasonal settings
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Dependable and able to commit through the full season
- Availability from approximately April/May through October (flexible based on business needs)
- Weekend and holiday availability required during peak season

Responsibilities
- Manage the flow of tickets and coordinate timely food delivery from kitchen to service staff
- Check all dishes for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before they leave the kitchen
- Communicate clearly with cooks and servers to maintain smooth service
- Prioritize orders effectively during peak hours
- Garnish and finish plates according to Love Farms standards
- Keep the expo station clean, organized, and stocked
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve order issues
