About The Position

The Expo (Expeditor) is responsible for managing the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining room. This role ensures that all dishes are prepared correctly, plated properly, and assembled according to each ticket before leaving the window. The Expo organizes and consolidates orders, verifies accuracy and presentation, and communicates clearly with both kitchen staff and front-of-house team members. The Expo calls for runners when orders are complete, coordinates timing so tables receive all items together, and maintains smooth service by controlling the pace between the kitchen and dining room. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
