Explorer Teacher
About The Position
As an Explorer Teacher at Primrose School of Lake Nona, you will help care for children aged 5 to 12 who are enrolled in our before and after school program. You will implement a fun and flexible curriculum with student-led projects that focus on leadership, character development, and design thinking. We are also looking for individuals that may be willing to drive our small school bus. Training will be provided. You will spend your days building genuine relationships with each child, helping them learn and explore in areas that interest them, from technology to art and more. You will maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence. You will discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.
Requirements
- Passion for teaching and fostering curiosity, creativity, and compassion.
- Willingness to drive a small school bus (potential requirement).
- Ability to build genuine relationships with children.
- Ability to help children learn and explore in areas of interest.
- Ability to maintain a well-kept classroom.
