About The Position

Join Our Team as an Explorer (School-Age) After School Teacher! Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of school-age children every afternoon? We're looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team as an Explorer Program Teacher at Primrose School of Middleton. This part-time position is Monday through Friday, 2:00pm to 5:30pm. There is a possibility for more hours and a full-time role for candidates interested in also serving as a School-Support Teacher earlier in the day, assisting across classrooms.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma.
Prior experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
Able to work Monday through Friday, 2:00pm to 5:30pm consistently.
Must have a valid Wisconsin driver's license.
Comfortable learning to drive a 14-passenger bus.
Willingness to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

Lead homework help, games, crafts, and enrichment activities.
Maintain a safe, structured environment and supervise children during transitions, snack time, and activities.
Help carry out the daily after-school schedule, including homework support, structured play, and Primrose enrichment activities.
Create a warm, welcoming space where school-age children feel known and supported.
Drive our 14-passenger bus to pick up students from local elementary schools and safely transport them to Primrose for our after school program.
