About The Position

Mission Intelligence Group is seeking an accomplished Expert Systems Architect to lead the design, development, and evolution of enterprise-level architectures supporting critical GEOINT and intelligence missions. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned architect who excels at translating complex requirements into strategic solutions, engaging senior leaders, and driving architectural alignment across government, industry, and international partners.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • 18+ years of Systems Architecture experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • 18+ years of experience in government or industry supporting one or more of the following: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Intelligence Community Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and communicating effectively with: Senior executives, Government leaders, Internal and external stakeholders, International partners.
  • Ability to operate successfully in sensitive, highly collaborative mission environments.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI access and successfully pass a polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies, tools, processes, and modeling languages.
  • Federated Enterprise Architect Certification (Certified Enterprise Architect).
  • National Defense University, College of Information and Cyberspace Enterprise Architecture Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, maintenance, and documentation of enterprise and solution architectures.
  • Ensure architecture solutions align with enterprise requirements, strategic objectives, and governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain ASG architecture artifacts, models, roadmaps, and technical documentation.
  • Brief architecture status, recommendations, and strategic initiatives to senior international leadership forums.
  • Provide technical advisory support to TIP leadership and government stakeholders.
  • Analyze user requirements, operational processes, workflows, and system limitations to improve mission capabilities.
  • Recommend architectural enhancements based on emerging technologies and evolving mission needs.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of senior, mid-level, and junior systems architects.
  • Create architecture products and views in accordance with DoDAF and IC Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
  • Utilize Joint Architecture Reference Models (JARM) to identify service gaps, support analyses of alternatives, and guide investment decisions.
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods and tools to develop and maintain digital system models.
  • Link requirements, design artifacts, and enterprise architectures using MBSE best practices.
  • Recommend and operate architecture tools that support modeling, simulation, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Manage architecture repositories, processes, and tools to ensure accurate and automated maintenance of architecture artifacts.
  • Provide responsive support for ad hoc requirements and liaison officer tasking.
