About The Position

An Expert Solution Developer integrates Acxiom and third party software to create solutions to business problems defined by specific business requirements and draws upon technical and data processing knowledge to solve complex marketing and data warehousing problems on very large volumes of data. This specific role is not eligible for any type of sponsorship. Must be located in Central Arkansas & able to go to the office at least 3x a week.

• 8 Years of Experience w/ a Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Configure or tune Acxiom or third party software.
• Develop automation to tie components together.
• Develop custom application code to accommodate specific business requirements.
• Collaborate with others to add extensions to existing Acxiom software.
• Proactively pursue and oversee new development, ongoing maintenance, support, and optimization working closely with accounts teams who are utilizing the solution.
• Mentor less experienced developers or others across the team and ensure that proper unit testing and code reviews are conducted across the solution.
• Provide Level of Efforts for work estimates.
• Provide technical strategy, direction and design of complex solutions.
• Advise on functional requirements and application approaches.
• Understand business requirements to build, enhance or integrate programs and processes for one or more Acxiom Client solutions and/or applications.
• Interpret high level application design and functional specifications to write application code.
• Import intellectual capital, champion new technologies, languages, and methods that could create an advantage for Acxiom and its clients.
• Identify and recommend innovation ideas, assess value, and drive implementation strategy.
• Lead code review sessions, providing code assessment.
• Help provide workforce management. Break down work in implementations or existing client solutions into manageable pieces and coordinate multiple developers.
• Effectively identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical/coding issues.
• Recognize and communicate areas for innovation and/or improvement.
• Document, share and provide input on best practices and case studies.
• Utilize standard Acxiom methodologies to ensure overall solution and data integrity is maintained.
• Define solution strategy, standards, policies and procedures.
• Respond to client/stakeholder problems in a timely manner, prioritizing multiple issue response based on the severity of the case.
• Using relevant software languages, develop/execute unit test cases and test software applications that fulfill functional specifications using an IDE.
• Document and interpret test results and correct application coding errors.
• Perform Level of Effort (LOE) estimations for individual tasks within a project or implementation as well as the overall effort for large projects and existing client solutions.
• Provide expertise on system and application development tools to identify and address application or query performance issues.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in Acxiom technologies, verticals and lines of business in order to help align client business needs to products, solutions and services offered.
• Possibly hold an industry certification in relevant technology.
• Focus on continuous improvements across solutions, introducing advanced techniques and consulting on implementations.
