Job Overview As an Expert in SMB Sales Development (SDR) at T-Mobile for Business, you'll play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying and creating new business opportunities through cold outbound prospecting within the small and medium business segment. Your efforts will help build a robust pipeline for our sales team. By engaging with prospects and understanding their needs, you'll contribute significantly to expanding our customer base and driving our overall success. Your role is essential in uncovering potential leads and setting the stage for our sales team to close deals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Less than 2 years Call center/sales experience (Required)
  • Sales Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and build relationships with clients and team members. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. (Required)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. (Required)
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently. (Required)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals. (Required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. (Required)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in outbound sales and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. (Preferred)
  • Ability to establish and cultivate initial client relationships, including setting up meetings and connecting with key contacts within the organization. Experience in managing first impressions, understanding client needs, and laying the groundwork for future business opportunties. (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and other sales enablement tools. (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to generate new business leads.
  • Managing and cleansing data in the Salesforce CRM system, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities.
  • Emailing and calling prospects to understand and build their interest in TFB solutions.
  • Carefully following the follow-up sequence, lead management process in Salesforce, and the qualification process to qualify leads.
  • Providing feedback to the Marketing team on lead quality, processes, and performance.
  • Qualify leads and set appointments for the sales team.
  • Research and identify potential customers and key decision-makers within target accounts in the small to mid-sized business space.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine outreach strategies.
