Since Beneva's inception, an Executive Vice-Presidency and a centralized project office have been established to orchestrate all organizational initiatives, projects, and programs, as well as portfolios. The expert project manager reports to the Director of the Project Office. Their primary role is to plan, manage, and implement large to very large-scale projects and initiatives that support the organization's strategic plans and objectives. Their involvement is for cross-functional projects with major impacts across the entire company. They are responsible for taking charge of important corporate programs and/or playing the role of portfolio manager. These initiatives/projects/programs are characterized by the involvement of multiple sectors, significant complexity, or a large number of resources to coordinate. Furthermore, their direct stakeholders are generally leaders, VPs, or Executives, requiring the project manager to collaborate, advise, and influence at a strategic level. Finally, in certain specific situations, this expert may be called upon to take charge of or collaborate on special audit mandates, recovery efforts, or the implementation of significant recommendations. They ensure the performance of all areas required for the successful completion of strategic projects entrusted to them, including technological aspects, and strongly coordinate business aspects, including change management (training, communication). They also contribute to various deliverables associated with pre-project stages and the evolution of the project portfolio management process in place within the company.
