Requirements

PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Biophysics, or related field.
Hands-on experience in protein biochemistry (expression/purification, chromatography) and protein-protein interaction characterization (e.g., mass photometry, SPR, BLI, ITC, or AUC).
Familiarity with electron microscope sample preparation (negative stain and/or cryo-electron microscopy grid prep/screening).
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
Works well both as a team and as an individual.
Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.

Responsibilities

Characterizing protein-protein interactions between targets and engineered binders using biophysical methods (mass photometry, analytical SEC, SEC-MALS, SPR, or BLI).
Preparing and optimizing samples for single-particle cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM): complex assembly, negative-stain/grid screening, vitrification, and iterative optimization.
Coordinating with internal/external cryo-EM imaging partners on grid screening and data collection.
Maintaining thorough electronic lab notebook records for reproducibility and traceability.
