About The Position

Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls. This role involves expert level support including physical installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices, with a focus on Cisco-based systems. The position also requires experience in system level design and architecture of enterprise security, datacenter virtualization, and CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure, as well as expert security enterprise boundary and datacenter architecture and design. The engineer will be responsible for creating system diagrams and presenting high-level presentations to management, and must be experienced in packet capture software.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with both Polygraphs is required
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree + 10 years minimum experience, OR No Degree + 15 years minimum experience, OR Ten (10) years demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.
  • Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
  • Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Responsibilities

  • Experienced in packet capture software.
