About The Position

Join a mission-driven team ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate GEOINT across the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial Intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. As an Expert-Level Test Systems Engineer, you will lead testing strategy and execution across complex, large-scale systems while mentoring engineers and driving quality throughout the development lifecycle. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineering leader who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality, mission-critical systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field
  • 4 additional years of experience may replace a STEM degree, or 2 additional years with a non-STEM degree
  • 18+ years of systems integration experience within government or industry, supporting large, complex Systems of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments across cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
  • Experience with traditional, Agile, and DevOps development methodologies and associated testing strategies
  • Working knowledge of modern software development frameworks
  • Prior experience supporting IC or DoD programs/projects
  • Experience with NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs/projects
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the planning and coordination of Enterprise test events to validate system performance and requirements compliance.
  • Leads and participates in integration, test and evaluation activities across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency environments to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.
  • Maintains a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of for cloud, on premise, and hybrid services, infrastructure and security domains.
  • Participate in the planning for integration testing of system software and hardware to validate compliance with specified requirements.
  • Support technical investigations and root cause analysis for defects identified during testing activities.
  • Utilizes test management and defect tracking tools to document, track and resolve issues.
  • Reviews and comments on engineering plans and site installation technical design packages.
  • Guides the work of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level contractor Systems Integrators.
